Each economic subject has different legal connotations that give rise to specific accounting facts that, at the same time, will lead to an accounting information that shows these differences. Cooperatives, non-profit entities and SATs have unique characteristics and develop peculiar economic operations, mainly with their partners and associates, and all this affects their accounting.
The University has a research group specialized in the accounting of social economy entities, especially cooperatives, non-profit entities and agrarian transformation societies (SAT).
