The Universitat de les Illes Balears offers companies and institutions in its environment a series of specialized technologies and services aimed at solving R+D+I problems and needs, which have been generated from the knowledge and experience acquired in the research activity. These are services related to engineering, specialized consulting and technical assistance, as well as patents and other specific developments with practical application in the productive sector.
Studies related to the optimum management of water resources and water reuse
Hydrological plans design counselling for a good management of water resources.
Analysis of water quality in marine and coastal systems
Physicochemical and biological parameters determination to quantify nutrients, monitor phytoplankton populations and detect contaminants in marine and coastal waters.
Advice on the impact of sea level rise and changes in the wave regime on beaches and other low coastal areas
