Implementation of active methodologies in schools.

Supporting schools that want to establish innovative methodologies.

Active methodologies are a pedagogical alternative that focuses on achieving meaningful learning from the active participation of students and teachers as a guide, facilitator and companion of the student learning process.

This methodological approach is based on the idea that all people possess information, experience, attitudes, practices and previous stories and that knowledge is built on the information already in it and reformulates it. This methodology seeks for the student to reflect on what he learns and can apply in different situations, contexts, problems or projects.

The University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) puts to the supply of all those centres that have an interest in establishing innovative methodologies, a team of professionals in the subject that offers support, tools, resources, strategies, teaching material, etc., to be able to implant it in the classroom.
