Cluster-based computing system to do calculation within any scope

Service that offers a network computing system to perform calculations within any scope of application.

A cluster is a set of computers linked together by a high-speed network that behaves as if it was a single computer, more powerful than ordinary computers. They are used, above all, to improve performance and / or availability over what is provided by a single computer being cheaper than a single computer with similar characteristics. The advantages are, then, high performance, high availability, high efficiency and scalability.

A research group from the physics area of the UIB offers its workstation network to perform mass data calculations stored within any scope of application.
