Psychological attention in problems of anxiety and depression infant-juvenile

Advice and evaluation of anxiety and depression problems in children and adolescents up to 17 years.

Depression and anxiety are problems that may appear at any age and due to different causes. Child depression is characterized by an alteration in behavior, sadness, possible irritability, lack of communication, etc., children with anxiety problems may experience fear, nervousness or sustained tension, among others. In both cases, school performance can be affected, in the same way as social relationships or other everyday habits such as diet and sleep. Both problems can increase with age and perpetuate themselves if they are not treat in time. In addition, they can be presented along with other associated disorders such as eating disorders or attention deficit disorder (ADHD).

A research group from the UIB has experience in the application of programs for the prevention and evaluation of anxiety and depression problems in children and adolescents.
