Studies of neuronal behaviour before external stimuli

Analysis of the collected data to prepare a report on the neuronal animal behaviour in front of external stimuli.

Living beings, in their relationship with the environment, respond to different external stimuli (light, sound, movement, etc.) and internal (pain, thirst, etc.). These stimuli are perceived through the different organs of the senses, which send information to the nervous system through sensory receptors. When the nervous system receives the information, it sends it to the brain through the neurons and activates the response mechanisms to the stimulus.

A research group of the University of the Balearic Islands collaborates with two universities, from Denmark and Italy, developing studies through data obtained by sensors placed on animals, on the behaviour of their neurons when they are subjected to different stimuli external.
