We are seeking an outgoing commis de cuisine to join our team. As a Commis de cuisine you will support the kitchen team in preparing dishes from the menu according company policy. You will also support in receiving deliveries and perform basic cleaning duties. You must be very knowledgeable about your specialties and culinary in general and must also be very organized and comfortable working in a high-pressure environment. You are responsible for keeping stations organized so that meals go out on time and the work areas with all their equipment remain clean and orderly to meet HACCP standards. Main accountabilities • Prepare and season personally the dishes of the batch entrusted to him/her, respecting the technical specifications. • Take care of the presentation and characteristics of hot and cold dishes. • To make the best use of the items given to him/her for preparation and seasoning. • Caring for and maintaining the area under his/her responsibility in a perfect state of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation. • Taking care of the installations, machinery, and equipment.
